Focuses on ways to improve employment and production in relation to the government’s social and economic policies. In order to decrease unemployment and address the uncertainties facing Lebanese labor following a regional peace settlement, the book offers several policy suggestions, such as developing a national data bank on labor supply and demand as well as encouraging investment in productive semi-skilled and highly skilled sectors of industry, agriculture, and services.
