The Citizen and Civic Education in Lebanon: A Teachers' Guide

New participatory and interactive teaching methods are necessary to engage a generation raised in an atmosphere of violence, intolerance, and corruption with a civics curriculum. With this in mind, LCPS produced a teacher's guide to complement a civics book entitled: "The Citizen and Civic Education in Lebanon" (CCEL). The guide features class plans, activities, additional reading, and exercise material and aims to help teachers apply the concepts and theories conveyed in the CCEL book into lesson plans, exercises, and real life case studies.
