Poverty and Social Development in Lebanon

A book presented by a number of Lebanese social and economic researchers which aims to evaluate the phenomenon of poverty in Lebanon, poverty related post-war economic policies, and their effect on several areas such as litigation rights, health issues, funding policies, among others. The book also includes a presentation of the working papers of a five week regional dialogue on the conditions of poverty and development in the Arab region organized by the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies in collaboration with Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, Al Urdun al Jadeed Research Center, and the Abdel Rahim Bou Obeid Institute in Morocco, sponsored by the World Bank.
