Consists of a set of comparative studies concerning parliamentary work, specifically concerning the legislative experiences of Arab parliaments, their supervisory role over the corresponding executive authorities, and the framework of constitutional, legal, and legislative functions of parliament. The authors intend these studies to serve two functions: to act as a base for further research and an empirical reference on the work of Arab parliaments, and to provide objective, practical suggestions for developing parliamentary work, enhancing the role of parliament, improving its institutional performance, and increasing its capacity to serve parliamentarians in carrying out their duties.
