The 2005 Legislative Elections in Lebanon: In Light of Local and Regional Transformations

LCPS convened three roundtables on the issues of transparency accountability and integrity of the Lebanese parliamentary elections. The roundtables gathered election experts, members of the media, academics, and activists in a facilitated forum to discuss: 1) Election monitoring; 2) Election spending and media coverage; and 3) Accountability of political platforms. The recommendations from the roundtables were announced at three separate press conferences and published in the local press.
The roundtables were held in partnership with the Lebanese Transparency Association.
The results of the workshop were published in a book entitled The Legislative Elections 2005.
