National Statistics and Development in Lebanon

This workshop focused on state statistics in Lebanon by reviewing social, education, judicial, health, monetary, and employment statistics as well as the National Accounts. A roundtable discussion on the future of Lebanese statistics in the era of globalization contributed to understanding how to improve Lebanon’s integration into the world economy.
Following the workshop, the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies published “National Statistics and Development in Lebanon” that includes papers on the various sectors presented during the workshop as well as additional papers on several topics, such as environment, trade, culture, and finance.
