The Document of the National Accord: A Critical Review of the Taif Agreement

This workshop sought to evaluate the effectiveness of the Taef Agreement by examining both its text and implementation over the last ten years since its adoption. Participants discussed the main reforms established by the agreement and whether or not they were implemented before presenting suggestions that would contribute to empowering modern state institutions.
Following the conference, the LCPS published a book titled, "The Document of National Accord: A Critical Review."
The Conference was organized by LCPS in collaboration with the University of Balamand.
