Towards an Equitable and Efficient Budget

This workshop addressed different economic and sociological aspects of the budget, including the relationship between the budget and expenditure. Presentations focused on the prospects of reforming the structure of public finance, new approaches to budget studies, budget allocation and implantation procedure, and social spending.
Discussion included an analysis of the in-house research conducted by the LCPS focused on budgetary reform and developmental trends in Lebanon.
The workshop was organized by the LCPS in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
