October 20, 2011Gas in the Levant Basin: Another Source of Regional Conflict?LCPS held a panel discussion to explore the main issues related to the excavation and future production of gas in the Levant basin. Issues discussed included Lebanon’s administrative readiness and other upcoming challenges facing the Lebanese government. The regional impact of these gas fields in addition to the economic implications of the prospect of sizeable revenues were also discussed.
The event was held in collaboration with the Carnegie Middle East Center.
