LCPS sponsored a discussion regarding the status of political reform in Lebanon, as well as the issue of how regional conflicts impact chances for domestic reform. Other issues addressed included women’s rights and empowerment as well as human security and development.
The series was organized in conjunction with the Project on Middle East Democracy, the United States Institute of Peace, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and Georgetown University.
