Establishing Public-Private Dialogue to Enhance Export Capacity
Businesses play a key role in building inclusive enterprise ecosystems and are positioned to bolster the ability of firms of all sizes to grow and create jobs. Such associations should be supported and encouraged to develop strong internal governance, engaged membership, financial sustainability, and advocacy skills. In recognition of this, LCPS launched a project to support the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, the leading advocate for Lebanese businesses in the industrial sector and a key interlocutor with the public sector, in becoming a more effective membership-based civil society organization. This in turn is projected to help its subsidiary associations realize their goal of becoming more effective representatives of their respective sectors in public policy-making.
