Identifying Priorities in the Syrian Refugee Crisis Response

This project seeks to understand the various levels of stability and instability that have manifested in Lebanon following the Syrian crisis. The project assesses this on a macro-national level of the Lebanese state and also in through in-depth case studies in eight towns in the North and the Bekaa Valley, the two regions with the highest concentration of Syrian refugees. It examines the links between stability, identity and perceptions of economic wellbeing, as well as responsiveness of public institutions and social services, and the role of local and international NGOs, among other relevant variables.
