January 01, 2017 Promoting Local Resilience for Long-Term Peace
In recognition of a global shift from short-term relief to long-term development, LCPS addressed the efficiency of donor policies targeted at mixed migration into delicate states. The project employs a comparative case-study approach, key informant interviews, field research, and multiple workshops in three communities with high Syrian refugee saturation. This project’s outputs include the local dissemination of a report and Lebanon Policy Briefing to organizational actors and representatives in Beirut. At the international level, a global policy briefing and a workshop was held in Brussels and presented to global policy experts and practitioners.
