Parliamentary Reforms: The Importance of Parliamentary Research and Information Services

A book compiling a series of articles and papers which were presented at the regional workshop held in Lebanon and supported by Konrad Adenauer. Participants from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Maghreb, Jordan and the European Union describe their best practices and experiences in developing the parliamentary research and information centers in the legislative councils. This book aims at advancing representative democracy  through overcoming legislative-executive imbalance by means of strengthening knowledge management in the legislative branch of government.
