Drafting a Decentralization Law


LCPS board member, Ziyad Baroud, and LCPS director, Sami Atallah, have been appointed to the decentralization committee established by the Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Mikati, as President and member, respectively, on 7 November 2012 (Decree 166/2012).

We are happy that our continuous effort in promoting the agenda of decentralization has been acknowledged by the government. We hope to contribute effectively through this committee to advance the policy agenda of local administrations and development in Lebanon.
