Help Support LCPS

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I kindly seek your support to help LCPS increase its national impact.  We are holding our first ever fund raising dinner on Monday July 9, 2012 at 20:30 at the Phoenicia Hotel.

LCPS is the oldest, independent, non-profit, non-partisan think tank in Lebanon. Since 1989, it has demonstrated an impressive track record of leadership in producing and disseminating policy knowledge in the political, economic, and social spheres in Lebanon and the Arab world. It has been ranked as the first Lebanese think tank and 11th in the Arab world according to the Global think tank survey conducted by University of Pennsylvania.

Over the past eighteen months, we have launched policy research projects tackling issues such as transparency and accountability in the national budget, economic priorities and job creation, decentralization and municipal finance, and the offshore gas issue. In addition, we have created a number of new initiatives such as issuing regular newsletters and policy briefs, and organizing roundtable discussions on timely policy issues. We also have softly launched our new website that is conceived as a policy portal and we will soon be active on Twitter. Finally, we are re-locating our offices in Ras Beirut in an effort to be closer to the research and policy community.

We strongly need your support to maintain our mission to initiate and develop new policy projects that help create a better Lebanon.  To this end, please join us at our first annual fundraising dinner on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 20:30 at the Phoenicia Hotel. You can purchase individual tickets at $250 per person, or a table for 12 people, at $3,000.  All proceeds will go to supporting important policy research and advocacy.

We look forward to hearing positively from you.
To purchase tickets, or for more information, please call or contact us  at 01.486.429 or 03.968.460.
