Legal Professions and Judicial Reform in the Arab Region
LCPS organized a workshop which brought together legal professionals from Bar Associations, Judge Clubs and advocacy networks in addition to rule of law activists and other specialized individuals from Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Kuwait and Lebanon. Participants explored key questions regarding: Promoting the independence and integrity of the judiciary; Developing the legal professions; Modernizing the administration of justice; Enlarging the access to justice; Reforming the legal systems and Rule of Law: Democracy and development.
