Arab Youth Political Engagement: Crisis and Transformation
LCPS held a workshop which sought to assess the state of political engagement of Arab youth considering the current state of political regimes in the Arab world, the turmoil in the region, and the changing values among Arab youth. The workshop explored several aspects of this topic including: Arab regimes vs. Arab youth; Arab youth and political participation; Arab youth and ideology; Arab youth and Political Islam; and Arab youth and the Future. The workshop concludedwith a roundtable discussion about the Kefaya Movement in Egypt and the Cedar Revolution in Lebanon.
The event was held in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
