Governance Report Launch
This launch consisted of a presentation and roundtable discussion of the published report of the World Bank on the state of governance in the MENA region. It was attended by over sixty Lebanese participants from the public sector, the research community, the business community, the media and civil society as well as members of international organizations based in Beirut. The discussion with lead author Charles Humphreys and World Bank Lebanon Country manager Omar Razzaz Dr. was chaired by Salim Nasr, the LCPS General Director, and allowed for a fruitful exchange on the implications of the report for partnership and cooperation between public authorities, civil society organizations and opinion leaders to advance reforms for better governance in Lebanon and the region.
This roundtable was organized in collaboration with the World Bank Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
