Local Government and Municipal Reform in Lebanon
This conference focused on the issues facing municipal government in Lebanon. Participants identified several financing, staffing, and administrative problems and suggested ways to improve the effectiveness of municipalities. Specific suggestions included providing municipal governments with more autonomy.
The conference was organized by the LCPS.
