The Map of Values in Lebanon
As part of a series of roundtable discussions regarding political reform in Lebanon, LCPS organized a panel discussion entitled "The Map of Values in Lebanon" on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Beirut. The meeting assembled a group of intellectuals to discuss the possibility of developing a map of the distribution of the systems of traditional, sectarian, religious and civil values in the behavior of the Lebanese people and their attitudes, as well as the prevalence, overlapping or opposition of these values in the midst of their social, cultural, professional and geographical distribution. The goal of this exercise was to increase the understanding of the possibilities for reform, including its approaches and priorities.
A report synthesizing the debates was published by LCPS in April 2012.
